One of the most elegant all-rounders ever to play the game, Frank Woolley scored 3,283 Test runs and took 83 wickets. In his First-Class career, he took 1,018 catches, a record for a fielder.

One of the finest all-rounders that cricket has seen, Frank Woolley’s career spanned over 25 years. Making his Test debut against Australia at The Oval in 1909, Woolley went on to play 64 Test matches for England, scoring 3,283 runs at an average of 36.07. His highest score of 154 came in the fourth Test in Manchester in the home series against South Africa in 1929.
His 83 wickets in Tests came at an average of 33.91. His best figures in an innings were 7/76, against New Zealand in Wellington in 1930.
