Owner of the best figures in a Men's ICC Cricket World Cup Final (5/38 v England at Lord's in 1979), Joel Garner was a terrifying sight for batsmen in all formats. In Tests, he finished with 259 wickets at an average of 20.97, while in ODIs, he collected 146 wickets at a staggering average of 18.84.

Intimidating his opponents with his huge frame and fiery pace bowling, Joel Garner received the nickname ‘Big Bird’ from his team-mates and opponents. He represented West Indies in 58 Tests, picking up a total of 259 wickets at an average just above 20. His ability to fire yorkers at will and bowl an alarmingly rising short of a length ball troubled batsmen across the globe.
