Victor Trumper is regarded as one of the most stylish and versatile batsman in what was known as the 'Golden Age' of cricket. Trumper played match-winning innings on wet wickets where his contemporaries often struggled. His career reached its peak when South Africa visited Australia in 1910-11. He scored 662 runs, with an average of 94 in 5 Test matches. Trumper represented Australia in 48 matches, piling up 3,163 runs at an average of 39.04 with 8 centuries.
