Player Bio
A veteran of 95 Tests, Alan Knott was a genuine wicketkeeping all-rounder. With five centuries to his name, Knott had a Test career average of 32.75 to go along with his 269 dismissals that included 250 catches and 19 stumpings.
One of his most memorable knocks came in 1967-68, when he made an unbeaten 73 in the fifth Test against West Indies at Georgetown, Guyana. His unbeaten innings saved the series as England finished the match with one wicket in hand.
