Broadcast details of the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 announced

With the opening match of the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 just two days away, the ICC is pleased to announce the details of its broadcast arrangements.
Sixteen teams from around the world will take part in the 41-match event where the future stars of women’s cricket will announce themselves over 15 days of competition from 18 January to 2 February 2025.
The excitement begins with six matches on 18 January. In Johor, England take on Ireland and Pakistan go up against USA in Group B. Samoa face Nigeria, while New Zealand go up against South Africa in the Group C clashes at Sarawak. In Group D, Australia go head-to-head against Scotland and Bangladesh take on Nepal at UKM YSD Oval in Selangor.
Fans can look forward to live coverage of the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup across all territories globally. JioStar will cover every match live via their digital platforms in India, with the semi-finals and final live on the Star Sports 2 linear TV channels. Ten Sports and PTV will cover the event in Pakistan, with Toffee broadcasting all matches live in Bangladesh. TV1 will broadcast the event in Sri Lanka, with the ICC.tv app showing all matches live in the region as well.
Sky Sports continue to provide extensive coverage across the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, with Prime Video streaming all matches live in Australia. Sky TV will broadcast the event across their linear and digital platforms in New Zealand. Fans in sub-Saharan Africa can enjoy the tournament via SuperSport.
ESPN bring coverage of the entire event via the Disney+ app to the Caribbean, Latin America and Brazil. Willow TV continue their coverage in the USA and Canada, with E& broadcasting all matches via CricLife W and StarzPlay in the MENA region, PNG Digicel will broadcast the event in Papua New Guinea along with ICC.tv’s digital coverage in the region. Fans in Malaysia and all other territories globally, including South East Asia and Continental Europe, will be covered by ICC.tv’s free of charge broadcast of the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup.
There will be live coverage of all matches including a pre-game build-up, an innings interval show, and a post-match wrap-up, ensuring comprehensive storytelling around the action on the field.
The production will feature an 11-camera set-up during the Group and Super 6 stages, which will be upgraded to a 14-camera specification for the semi-finals and final, delivering high-quality coverage throughout the tournament.
Starting from the Super 6 stage, the coverage will debut iHawk, a cutting-edge lightweight ball-tracking system that utilizes body-mounted mini cameras on umpires along with other high-frame-rate cameras to generate ball-tracking data, which will be visualized live on-air to enhance the viewer experience. This technology is being used to enhance the broadcast production and will not form part of any umpire decision-making processes.
The commentary team for the tournament brings together a mix of seasoned broadcasters and former players, along with some younger talent. Julia Price, Stacy-Ann King, Isobel Joyce, and Marina Iqbal will share their invaluable perspectives, having experienced the thrill of competing in World Cups themselves. Joining them are renowned broadcasters Kass Naidoo, HD Ackerman, Ed Rainsford and Charles Dagnall, alongside Raunak Kapoor, Jon Kent, Georgie Heath, Philasande Sixaba, and Ben Jones.
To complete the lineup, the iconic voice of Ian Bishop will join the team for the knockout stages, lending his expertise and gravitas to the final moments of the tournament.
