Duffy in top five of ICC Men's T20I Bowling Rankings

New Zealand seam bowler Jacob Dufffy has entered the top five of the ICC Men’s T20I Bowling Rankings for the first time after helping his team to a resounding 115-run win over Pakistan in Mount Maunganui for a winning 3-1 lead in their five-match T20I series.
Duffy’s haul of four for 20 in that match, which followed figures of one for 37 in the third match in Auckland, helped him advance seven places to fifth position in the latest weekly rankings update that takes into consideration matches completed till Tuesday.
Zakary Foulkes, who supported Duffy with three for 25, has moved up 26 slots to 64th position, while for Pakistan, speedster Haris Rauf is up 11 places to 15th after taking three wickets each in both matches and Abbas Afridi has reached a career-best 36th position with three wickets in those two matches.
There have also been some other notable changes in the batting rankings after the series.
New Zealand opener Finn Allen’s match-winning 20-ball 50 in Mount Maunganui has lifted him two places to 16th while Mark Chapman’s 94 in Auckland has helped him progress from 51st to 41st position. Pakistan’s Hasan Nawaz has galloped to 77th position after a blistering 105 not out in Auckland.
After a five-match series in Windhoek that saw hosts Namibia blank Canada 5-0, Nikolaas Davin of Namibia has moved up 27 places to 68th and become the highest-ranked batter from his country while captain Gerhard Erasmus, whom Devin overtook in the batting rankings, is up four places to 98th in the bowling rankings. Nicholas Kirton of Canada has advanced from 91st to 74th position among batters.
