ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025- Media Accreditation Advisory

Media advisory

The application window for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 media accreditation is now open. This is an online process that can be completed by clicking here and is only for print media, websites, non-rights holding (NRH) TV and radio broadcasters.

Those who have covered one of the following ICC Events will be given preference for accreditation:

  • ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024
  • ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024
  • ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023

Though the record of attending previous ICC events (the ones mentioned above or other ICC events) will be considered, please note that attending previous events does not guarantee you media accreditation. All applications will be assessed thoroughly keeping in mind the media organisations, the individual applicants and media spaces available at venues.

Members of the media have until 17h00 Dubai time (GMT +4) on Monday, 27 January, to register for accreditation. As part of the process, the media will need to upload the following documents:

  • A colour headshot photograph with a plain background like a passport photo
  • Letter of approval/assignment from your Editor/Commissioning Editor
  • Passport/National Identity Card/Driving License

The ICC reserves the right to approve/reject/request further information on all applications in its sole discretion and without providing reasons for doing so.

The media is advised to carefully read the Media Accreditation Terms and Conditions and FAQs documents available on the accreditation portal and the resources section of the ICC Online Media Zone.

Whilst selecting matches, the media is advised to bear in mind the following:

Your tournament pass doesn’t guarantee you a space in the media working area on match days. Match-day accreditation lists will be prepared by the ICC as per its review process (please refer to the FAQs document to read more about the review process).

Match notifications for the tournament will begin in due course and will be published on the online portal. You will be able to log into your account and see the matches for which you have been allocated a seat in the media box, or a photo position.

As at previous ICC events, NRH camerapersons will be accredited for the tournament, but only reporters will be accredited on match days. However, to facilitate the NRHs, who will be allowed to cover pre-match activities, all pre-match and post-match media conferences will be uploaded to the ICC’s Online Media Zone.

If your accreditation is approved, you will be informed about how to obtain a letter in support of your visa application.

Please note that no warnings will be given for any infringements of the Terms and Conditions and accreditation cards will be revoked straight away.

For access to the Online Media Zone please send a request to media@icc-cricket.com with your name, organisation, designation and e-mail ID.

Please note that Online Media Zone access is not required to apply for accreditation.

If you have any problems with the accreditation portal, please write to ct25accreditation@accredit-solutions.com. Please do not write to this e-mail ID for any information regarding visas or to request visa letters.
