Media advisory
The following is the schedule of media opportunities at the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 on Friday, 28 February:
Lahore
Australia play Afghanistan in a Group B match at the Gaddafi Stadium on Friday, 28 February, from 14h00 local time. Teams will address post-match media conferences starting around 10 minutes after the end of the match, with a member of the losing team generally coming in first followed by a member of the winning team. The media conferences will be followed by Mixed Zone interactions with players from both teams.
Karachi
South Africa play England in a Group B match at the National Stadium on Saturday 1 March, from 14h00 local time. On their pre-match day on Friday:
- South Africa have practice at the National Stadium from 13h30 to 16h30 and will hold their pre-match media conference at approximately 13h15 local time.
- England will train at the same venue from 18h30 and will hold their pre-match media conference at approximately 18h30 local time.
Dubai
New Zealand play India in a Group A match at the Dubai International Stadium (DIS) on Sunday, 2 March, from 13h00 local time.
Media activities schedule for Friday, 28 February – two days ahead of Sunday’s match:
- New Zealand will train at the ICC Academy from 13h30 to 16h30 local time. A team member will interact with the media in a huddle at the same venue beforehand, around 13h15.
- India will train at the ICC Academy from 18h15. They will hold their pre-match media conference at DIS around 17h45. Additionally, Assistant Coach Ryan ten Doeschate will be made available for an interaction during training at the ICC Academy. Please note that India will not train on Saturday and there will be no other media interaction before the match on Sunday. Schedule for New Zealand’s training and pre-match press conference for Saturday will be confirmed tomorrow.
A media shuttle will be available for media to move from ICC Academy to DIS at 16h30.
Note for NRH media:
- Playing and practice venues will only be open to media on Match day, Match day-1 and Match day-2
- Accredited Non-Rights Holders are allowed to film pre-match day media conferences, but no filming is allowed inside the venues on match days except for any safe filming zone that may be provided at venues.
- Videos shot at venues on pre-match days may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels including YouTube.
- Up to 10 minutes of coverage (including five minutes of continuous live) allowed; videos provided from media conferences provided by the ICC may be used in addition to these 10 minutes.
- The ICC will upload unedited media conference clips onto the Online Media Zone. The footage, whether provided by the ICC or shot by the media themselves, may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels including YouTube.
- If you intend to film non-matchday media conferences (either by camera or phone) please position yourself in the back row or behind the back row of seating.
Non-Rights Holder camerapersons will not be granted match day accreditation.
Note for photographers:
- Photographers are expected to always wear their bibs and are only permitted in designated areas.
- On pre-match days, photographers need to shoot from the areas identified by the Venue Media Manager.
- On match-days, photographers need to arrive for a pre-match meeting one hour in advance of the toss, when they will be assigned photo positions by the Venue Media Manager.
- NRH photographers will not be allowed at media conferences.
Media Centre entry and timings: On match days, the media areas will open two hours before the start of play and remain open till around 2 ½ hours after the end of the match.
