Media Advisory- ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 – Wednesday 19 February

Media advisory

The following is the schedule of media opportunities at the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 on Wednesday, 19 February 2025:

Karachi

Pakistan play New Zealand in a Group A match at the National Stadium starting 14h00 local time. Teams will address post-match media conferences starting around 10 minutes after the end of the match, with a member of the losing team generally coming in first followed by a member of the winning team. The media conferences will be followed by Mixed Zone interactions with players of both teams.

Dubai

Bangladesh and India play in a Group A match at the Dubai International Stadium (DIS) on Thursday, 20 February starting 13h00 local time.

On their pre-match day on Wednesday:

  • Bangladesh will train at the ICC Academy Oval 2 Ground from 13h30 to 15h30 local time. They will hold their pre-match media conference at the DIS Media Conference Room at 13h15 local time.
  • India will train at DIS from 16h30 to 18h30 local time. They will hold their pre-match media conference at the DIS Media Conference Room at 16h30 local time.

Note for media in Dubai:

Accreditation cards: Tournament accreditation cards can be collected from Room G009 (Entry A2/A3), DIS, from 11h00 to 17h00 local time on non-match days.

Shuttle bus service: There is an arrangement of a bus service for media wanting to attend Bangladesh’s training at the ICC Academy between the two media conferences. Bus departs DIS at 13h30 (immediately after the end of Bangladesh’s press conference) and will leave the ICC Academy for DIS at 15h45.

Note for NRH media:

  • Playing and practice venues will only be open to media on Match day, Match day-1 and Match day-2

  • Accredited Non-Rights Holders are allowed to film pre-match day media conferences, but no filming is allowed inside the venues on match days except for any safe filming zone that may be provided at venues.

  • Videos shot at venues on pre-match days may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels including YouTube.

  • Up to 10 minutes of coverage (including five minutes of continuous live) allowed; videos provided from media conferences provided by the ICC may be used in addition to these 10 minutes.

  • The ICC will upload unedited media conference clips onto the Online Media Zone. The footage, whether provided by the ICC or shot by the media themselves, may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels including YouTube.

  • If you intend to film non-matchday media conferences (either by camera or phone) please position yourself in the back row or behind the back row of seating.

Non-Rights Holder camerapersons will not be granted match day accreditation.

Note for photographers:

  • Photographers are expected to always wear their bibs and are only permitted in designated areas.
  • On pre-match days, photographers need to shoot from the areas identified by the Venue Media Manager.
  • On match-days, photographers need to arrive for a pre-match meeting one hour in advance of the toss, when they will be assigned photo positions by the Venue Media Manager.
  • NRH photographers will not be allowed at media conferences.

Media Centre entry and timings: On match days, the media areas will open two hours before the start of play and remain open till 2 ½ hours after the end of the match.
