Australia’s Annabel Sutherland’s career-best spell of four for eight against New Zealand in the second T20I at Mount Maunganui saw her rise two slots to a career-best fourth position among bowlers in the latest ICC Women’s T20I Player Rankings.
Her performance sees her reach 729 ratings points, leaving her trailing closely behind India’s Deepti Sharma who is in third place on 737 points.
Australia are 2-0 up in the three-match series that also saw Sutherland’s teammate Darcie Brown return figures of one for 22 and two for 23 in the first two matches to gain 12 places and return to the world’s top 20, sitting in 18th position with 643 points in the list still topped by England’s Sophie Ecclestone.
The top 10 of the batters’ list remains relatively unchanged with West Indies’ Deandra Dottin, India’s Harmanpreet Kaur and Danni Wyatt-Hodge from England all moving one slot to a shared 10th place with 628 points.

The White Ferns’ Georgia Plimmer’s scores of 46 against Sri Lanka, followed by 27 in her team’s first T20I against Australia saw her jump 20 slots to break into the top 50 for the first time.
Finally, Australia’s Georgia Voll rocketed 97 slots to 70th place after scores of 50 and 36 in the first two matches against New Zealand.
