1 – The first ever standalone ICC Women's World T20
The last five chapters of the tournament – 2009, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016 – were all held alongside the men's event.
The sixth edition of will be hosted in Antigua & Barbuda, Guyana and St Lucia in West Indies from 9 to 24 November this year. Ten teams will participate in the tournament and have been divided into two groups.
England won the first ever event in 2009 before Australia followed with a hat-trick of triumphs in 2010, 2012 and 2014. Hosts Windies, who won in 2016, are the defending champions in 2018.
The opening fixture of the competition will be played between New Zealand and India at Providence Stadium in Guyana on 9 November.
