18 – Fours hit by Meg Lanning in her career-best 126
The champion Australian batter walked in at the fall of the first wicket and raced away to 126 runs in just 65 deliveries.
It remains the highest score in all women's T20I cricket, though Suzie Bates, who recently stepped down as New Zealand captain, almost topped it in June 2018 when she smashed 124* in 66 balls in a game against South Africa.
Lanning not only sent the ball to the fence 18 times in her epic innings, but also sent it over the line four times.
The 26-year-old goes into ICC Women's World T20 2018 as No.3 on the MRF Tyres ICC Women's T20I Rankings for batters.
