Lanning, the Australian skipper, played an incredible innings of 126 in just 65 balls against Ireland in Sylhet in the fourth edition of the tournament in 2014.

It is the highest individual score in women's T20 cricket to date. With 2200 runs in 77 innings, Lanning is currently the fourth-highest run-scorer in women's T20 cricket.

Dottin, on the other hand, was the first female cricketer to hit a century in the shortest format of the game. Her 45-ball 112* against South Africa came in the 2010 edition of the competition. The Windies all-rounder smashed nine sixes and four boundaries in her colossal knock.
