41 – Stafanie Taylor's record WWT20 average
Windies captain Stefanie Taylor has always been a run machine, not just in Twenty20 Internationals, but in one-day internationals as well. Her penchant to score heavily just gets a fillip when it is a ICC Women's World T20.
In 21 ICC World T20 matches, the talismanic batter has racked up 711 runs at just under 42, including six half-centuries.
Her highest score of 59 came in the ICC Women's World T20 2016 final as Windies beat three-time defending champions Australia at Eden Gardens. It capped a tournament where she was named the Player of the Series.
Her tradition of scoring big runs in the marquee event had begun rather early. In her first two matches at the World T20 2009, she had scored 50 and 58* against South Africa and New Zealand respectively.
The Windies great will be hoping for more of the same in the upcoming edition.
