All you need to know about ICC Dream11 Daily Fantasy Challenge
The ICC Dream11 Daily Fantasy Challenge for the World Cup provides a platform for cricket fans and enthusiasts to create their own teams on a daily basis with their favourite players and compete with thousands of other fans across the world.
What's on offer?
The Daily Challenge format of ICC Dream11 Fantasy will offer users an opportunity to win exciting prizes like smartphones, tickets to upcoming matches, etc. on a daily basis.
How does it work?
Daily contests will open up at least 24 hours ahead of each match day. Users will be given a total of 100 credits to pick a set of eleven players for that particular match in order to join the contest. Players can be selected from both teams playing in that match, but the maximum number of players allowed to be picked from one particular team is seven. The selected players will then earn points based on the on-field performances of the players.
How to pick players?
The format instructs users to pick teams according to a set of predefined combinations. Each team should have exactly one wicket-keeper, and at least three batsmen, one all-rounder and three bowlers. These default restrictions make it a total of eight players and the remaining three players can be selected from any category except from ‘wicket-keeper’.
Captain and Vice-Captain
Additionally, users will also need to pick a captain and a vice-captain for their teams with the former earning double the points he actually scores and the latter earning 1.5 times the actual points.
Users will need to save their team after following the aforementioned steps. Finally, they will have to join the particular daily challenge by clicking on the ‘Join’ button of the specific contests of respective matches.
**Note**
Multiple teams (maximum of six) can also be created with different set of combinations and players in order to increase the chances of winning. The system, however, won't allow users to join with the same team twice.
