Australia wear black armbands to honour Maria Cummins
The players learned of Maria Cummins’ passing ahead of play on the second day.
"We are deeply saddened at the passing of Maria Cummins overnight," read Cricket Australia's statement.
"On behalf of Australian Cricket, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Pat, the Cummins family and their friends.
"The Australian men's team will today wear black armbands as a mark of respect."

Pat, who led the side in the first two Tests of the series, returned to Sydney after the second Test to be at the side of his mother, who was suffering from breast cancer and was in palliative care.
