Bangladesh call up uncapped Nasum Ahmed for New Zealand tour
Bangladesh are set to play three Cricket World Cup Super League ODIs and as many T20Is against New Zealand in March, and there were recalls for Mohammad Naim, the opener, middle-order batsman Mosaddek Hossain and pacer Al-Amin Hossain.
However, the left-arm spinner Taijul Islam missed out. Also missing was the ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan – he suffered a thigh injury during the first Test against West Indies – with reports in Bangladesh suggesting BCB had granted him paternity leave.
