Bangladesh unveil squad for 2025 Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier
Six teams will compete for the final two spots in the marquee event set to take place in India later this year.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2025.
The tournament will see six teams compete for the final two available spots in the eight-team World Cup, which will be held in India later this year.
Bangladesh will compete against West Indies, Ireland, Scotland, Thailand and Pakistan. The top two teams at the end of the tournament will their spots in the highly-anticipated ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.
Defending champions Australia, England, South Africa, Sri Lanka and New Zealand have all punched their tickets for the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 alongside hosts India, after finishing among the top five sides in the ICC Women's Championship 2022-25 points table.
