'Best batter in the world' - Voll hails mentor Mooney post series win over NZ
The Australia top-order batter breaks down her career-best knock that saw the visitors through to an eight-run triumph in Wellington.
Georgia Voll registered her highest T20I score in the third & final T20I against New Zealand to guide Australia to another emphatic series whitewash. Scoring 75 off 57 deliveries, Voll was named Player of the Match as Australia wrapped up a 3-0 series win.
The knock was the latest in Voll's breakout summer for Australia, with the 21-year-old having cemented herself as a key player in Australia's batting lineup.

Voll credited mentor and close friend Beth Mooney - who was named Player of the Series against New Zealand - for bringing the best out of her at the top of the order.
"(The series) was great, I love being a part of this team, and it's world class. I feel like (by) being a part of this team, you raise your own standards, and push to keep getting better," Voll told reporters post-match.
"When you're batting out there and opening the batting with the best batter in the world, you definitely learn a lot, which has been great for my game as well."
Mooney has been in phenomenal form in 2025 - scoring 575 runs at an astonishing average of 72 - and finished with 166 runs from three outings this series.
Finishing close second to her in the run-scoring charts was 21-year-old Voll, who amassed 161 runs from her three outings, which included two half-centuries.
Opening up on her latest knock in Wellington, Voll said, "(It was) very scratchy, I definitely grinded the whole way through that innings. I was lucky enough to get a couple away towards the back end but it was hard work out there," Voll told reporters after the game.
"It was nice to not throw it (her wicket) away, and try and keep building, and to get a couple (boundaries) away in the last 10 balls or so of my innings.”
Voll had the rub of the green in her favor as she earned a reprieve six times during her innings against White Ferns, making most of those chances to anchor Australia's innings after they were in to bat first by the hosts.
Admitting that she lacked the fluency on display in her first two outings in the series - 50 off 31 and 36 off 20 - Voll added that her latest outing offered new positives to her game.
"Not being able to strike as well as I have in the last couple of games, being able to adapt and open up another side of the field, which I probably haven't done in the T20 game, was what I was most proud of coming out of today.
"To be able to adapt and grind that way through, sometimes those are the hardest innings, but the ones that are most rewarding as well."
Touching up on her next assignment for Australia A, where she faces off against England A at home, Voll added, "(It’ll be good to get) a little bit more experience.
"England A have brought a really quality side over here, and I haven't played as much one-day cricket in the last couple of months, so I thought it was a great opportunity to take that and try and keep evolving my game as well."
