An India star has rocketed up to the third place on the latest ICC Women's ODI Batting Rankings, following a major shake-up at the top of the rankings.
Smriti Mandhana scored a brilliant 117 in the opening match of India's ongoing series against South Africa and gains two places to move to third on the updated list for ODI batters.

England all-rounder Natalie Sciver-Brunt regains her place as the No.1 ODI batter following her superb 124* against Pakistan at the end of last month while Sri Lanka veteran Chamari Athapaththu drops one spot to second.
India duo Deepti Sharma (up three spots to 20th) and Pooja Vastrakar (up three places to 38th) also gain some ground on the latest rankings for ODI batters, while Sri Lanka pair Nilakshika Silva (up three rungs to 42nd) and Harshitha Samarawickrama (up four spots to 47th) catch the eye following the opening game of their series against the West Indies.
Deepti Sharma became the first India bowler to 100 T20I wickets, thanks to her incredible spell of 3/15 against West Indies at the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2023.
While England spinner Sophie Ecclestone maintains a healthy lead at the top of the rankings for ODI bowlers, there is a bit of movement in behind her as India tweaker Deepti Sharma gains one place to move to fourth after tidy figures of 2/10 in the opening game of their series against South Africa.
Vastrakar is the big mover up the ODI charts for all-rounders, with the 24-year-old gaining four places to improve to 18th. South Africa veteran Marizanne Kapp remains the No.1 ranked ODI all-rounder in the world.
