Chinelle Henry ruled out of India ODIs with concussion

Henry was ruled out by a concussion suffered after diving to stop a ball headed for the boundary. While she saved a crucial couple of runs, her crashing into the boundary boards was an immediate cause for concern.

She was replaced for the remainder of the match by a concussion substitute, and will now be unavailable for a minimum of seven days, during which time she will be monitored and a decision will be made on whether to extend this period.

Cooper meanwhile, who was not in the team but was in the squad for the first ODI, misses out because of a bruised shin, caused when she was struck by a ball. Coming into the squad for the second game will be the uncapped seamer Caneisha Isaac.

"Isaac is a young medium pacer and a live wire on the field who impressed during the recent pre series camp," said Ann Browne-John, the lead selector for West Indies Women. "She will join the group of young medium pacers being groomed in the thrust to continue the development of young players."

The Windies will also have to do without Hayley Matthews in the second ODI, who will be serving the final part of an eight match ban handed to her for a breach of Cricket West Indies' code of conduct, before returning to join the side for the final game in the three-match series.
