Dawlat Zadran to miss Afghanistan's maiden Test
Dawlat Zadran, the right-arm pacer, has suffered a knee injury and will not feature in Afghanistan’s Twenty20 Internationals against Bangladesh or the country’s maiden Test against India.
Zadran, 30, hurt himself during training in India and was advised a month’s rest, the Afghan Cricket Board said.
Zadran, who has 137 wickets from 105 international matches, has been in good form for Afghanistan. During their title run in the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2018 in Zimbabwe earlier this year, he picked up eight wickets and also took a hat-trick in the warm-up match before the main tournament.
Fast bowler @dawlat_zadarn suffered a knee injury during the training camp in India. He has been advised one month's rest by doctors. Therefore, he will not be available for the T20I series against Bangladesh as well as Afghanistan's one-off Test against India.

The absence of an experienced paceman capable of hitting 140kph could leave the team with some concerns.
Afghanistan are set to play three T20Is against Bangladesh in Dehradun starting 3 June. They then head to Bangalore for their historic maiden Test against the hosts.
The team has been training at Greater Noida in India under coach Phil Simmons ahead of these matches.
