England call-up right-arm pacer to strengthen bowling arsenal

Grace Potts earns maiden-call up to the Test squad as pace bowling cover

Grace Potts, the 22-year-old pacer, has been added to the England Women Test squad for the one-off Test squad against South Africa.

Potts has earned her maiden call-up to the England Women's side after impressive performances in the domestic circuit, brought into the Test side as cover in the seam-bowling department.

She joins fellow pacers Lauren Bell, Kate Cross, Lauren Filer and new-comer Ryana MacDonald-Gay.

In their recent T20I and ODI series outings on the tour, the visitors swept the Proteas in the three T20Is, and emerged victorious 2-1 in the subsequent 50-over series.

The historic one-off Test – it's the first home Test for South Africa Women since 2002 – is set to be played between December 15 and 18 as Test cricket returns at the Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein.
