With the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 just one day away, we finish our series of articles on competing teams with focus on Sri Lanka.

The Sri Lankans have lifted the trophy on one occasion – when they shared the title with India in 2002 after their final was rained off on two occasions.

That was the only time Sri Lanka have lifted the trophy, and since then, their best performance has been a semi-final appearance the last time out in 2013.
