Former England captain Bob Willis passes away aged 70
Willis made his England debut in 1971 and went on to play 90 Tests and 64 ODIs. He famously took 8/43 in the 1981 Headingley Ashes Test, following on from Ian Botham's incredible century, to help pull off a famous comeback win.
After his playing career came to an end in 1984, Willis went on to become a well-known commentator and pundit.
Willis represented both Surrey and Warwickshire in county cricket, and finished his career with 899 first-class wickets. His international career also saw him lead England in 18 Tests and 29 ODIs. He is fourth in the list of England's leading Test wicket-takers.
In a statement to Sky News, Willis' family said: "We are heartbroken to lose our beloved Bob, who was an incredible husband, father, brother and grandfather. He made a huge impact on everybody he knew and we will miss him terribly."
