Gus Worland
Gus, up until the age of 38, was a salesman, who then had an opportunity to feature in a TV show called, An Aussie Goes Barmy. This allowed him to live with the Barmy Army cricket supporters from England for the Ashes series of '05/'06 on Fox8. After the success of the show, it led to an Aussie Goes Bolly and An Aussie goes Calypso. He then started his radio career on Triple M breakfast in Sydney. Gus did the breakfast show for 10 years before changing to the drive show which he does today.
During his media career he started his mental fitness charity Gotcha4Life. Gus set up the not-for-profit foundation in 2017 to help people develop the emotional muscle, resilience and social connections needed to build mental fitness and prevent suicide. His main sporting passion is cricket, and he looks forward to driving awareness around embracing and celebrating Australia’s rich, culturally diverse community through the power of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
