Hamilton Masakadza retained as Zimbabwe captain

Masakadza led Zimbabwe to a Test victory in Bangladesh and helped team draw the two-match series last year. However, in 20 matches as the one-day international captain, the 35-year-old is yet to register a victory.

The top-order batsman averaged 22.34 with the bat from 26 ODI innings in 2018 and accumulated 581 runs with two half-centuries. In Tests, the right-hander scored 139 runs from four innings in 2018, averaging 34.75 with one half-century.

Moor, the middle-order batsman, scored 321 runs from 16 ODI innings in 2018 with one half-century and accumulated 159 runs from four Test innings last year at an impressive average of 53 with two fifties.

In addition to these appointments, Dilip Chouhan has been appointed as the manager of the men's teams. He will be managing Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe A and Zimbabwe's U-19 side.
