ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup 2025 Ultimate Guide: Everything you need to know
The ICC Under 19 Women’s T20 World Cup is all set to kick off in Malaysia on 18 January 2025.
The second edition of the ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup will have the rising stars of 16 countries fighting it out in 41 matches, with four venues in Malaysia playing host to the women to showcase their talent on the global stage.
The tournament kicks off with six mouth-watering clashes on the opening day.

Ahead of the tournament, here's everything you need to know about the tournament.
The Groups:
Group A: India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, West Indies
Group B: England, Ireland, Pakistan, USA
Group C: New Zealand, Nigeria, Samoa, South Africa
Group D: Australia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Scotland

Format:
Sixteen teams will be divided into four groups of four, with each team playing once against every other team in their group.
The top three teams from each group will advance to the Super Six League stage. Teams progressing from Group A will face two qualifying teams from Group D, while teams from Group B will compete against two qualifiers from Group C.
Points earned in matches against other qualifying teams during the group stage will carry over to the Super Six League stage.
The top two teams from each Super Six League will move on to the semi-finals, with the final scheduled for February 2, 2025.
Key Dates:
The opening day will have Groups B, C and D in action in doubleheaders. England take on Ireland in Johor and Pakistan go up against USA in Group B.
Samoa take on Nigeria, while New Zealand go up against South Africa in the Group C clashes at Sarawak. Australia squares off against Scotland and Bangladesh take on Nepal in Group D’s fixtures in Selangor.
The Super 6 stage will get underway from January 25 through January 29, while the semi-finals are set for January 31 in Pandamaran.
The summit clash will be played out on Sunday, February 2 at the Bayuemas Oval in Pandamaran.

The first edition of the tournament took place in 2023 with South Africa playing hosts.
India emerged as the maiden winners after beating England by seven wickets in a low-scoring contest at the Senwes Park in Potchefstroom.
Grace Scrivens of England was awarded the Player of the Tournament for her 293 runs with the bat and nine wickets with the ball in seven games.
