Athletic Ellyse Perry saves the day for Australia in 2010 final against New Zealand
It all came down to the final ball in the final of the second edition of the Women's T20 World Cup in the West Indies and star all-rounder Ellyse Perry was the hero as Australia claimed their first title.
Powerful New Zealand batter Sophie Devine was seeing them well and needed to find the boundary from the final ball of the match to guide the Kiwis to victory, but Perry had other ideas.
The Australian star flung her boot out to slow down a well-timed drive from Devine and her efforts sent her teammates into hysterics as the powerful Aussies defended their small total and won their inaugural Women's T20 World Cup crown.

Heather Knight creates history in 2020
England skipper Heather Knight showed her class as she completed her century against Thailand at the 2020 edition of the Women's T20 World Cup to become the first player in the women's game to reach triple figures in all three formats.
Knight ended her innings unbeaten on 108* from just 66 deliveries and her efforts ensured England cruised home to victory at Manuka Oval in Canberra.
Alyssa Healy dines out on India in 2020 final
Alyssa Healy certainly took a liking to the bowling of Shikha Pandey as the Australia opener launched the ball into the crowd in excess of 85,000 people for three consecutive sixes in the 2020 final at the MCG.
The final maximum of the trio - a massive hit over cover - was the pick of the bunch and helped Healy amass a quickfire 75 from just 39 deliveries as Australia clinched a record fifth Women's T20 World Cup title.

Sania Mir produces wicked delivery in 2018
Pakistan spinner Sania Mir produced a gem of a delivery to send Ireland captain Laura Delany packing during their group match at the 2018 tournament.
It was a delivery of pure class from the Pakistan veteran, who deceived one of Ireland's best batters with a looping ball that crashed into the top of the stumps.
Katherine Sciver-Brunt bowls an over for the ages in 2009 final
It's always a risk bowling your strike bowler for four consecutive overs in a T20I, but that move certainly paid off for England at the inaugural Women's T20 World Cup on home soil in 2009 as Katherine Sciver-Brunt turned the final against New Zealand on its head with a brilliant spell.
England skipper Charlotte Edwards kept the right-armer in the attack for her final over at Lord's and the Kiwis quickly went from three-down to five-down as Sciver-Brunt claimed two wickets while delivering the second maiden of her spell.
This caught and bowled effort to claim the big wicket of Rachel Priest was the pick of Sciver-Brunt's final haul of 3/6 and it was no surprise that the fiery quick was adjudged Player of the Match for her efforts.

Harmanpreet Kaur smashes massive six on her way to a century against New Zealand in 2018
India captain Harmanpreet Kaur was in fine form at the Women's T20 World Cup in 2018 and this massive hit off the bowling of Amy Satterthwaite helped her become the first Indian woman to score a century at T20I level.
Kaur's massive strike travelled almost 90m and the inspirational right-hander ended her innings with a total of eight sixes in what was one of the best displays of power hitting ever seen.
Britney Cooper finishes the job to send West Indies into raptures in 2016
The West Indies had been a powerhouse of men's cricket for many eras, but it wasn't until this moment in the final of the 2016 Women's T20 World Cup that they really showed their prowess in the women's game.
Hayley Matthews and Stafanie Taylor did the majority of the damage at the top of the order as the West Indies attempted to chase down Australia's decent total of 148/5 at Eden Gardens, but it was left to Britney Cooper to hit the winning runs on the third delivery of the final over.
It was certainly the high moment of Cooper's career and for many of her teammates and the party began straight away as the jubilant players stormed onto the field to celebrate.

Poonam Yadav magic deceives Ellyse Perry in 2020
It takes a lot to deceive Ellyse Perry, but that's exactly what Poonam Yadav managed to do when she produced this ripper to lead India to victory over Australia in the opening match of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup.
Perry danced down the pitch in an attempt to get to the pitch of the ball, but was fooled by Yadav's wrong-un that dipped delightfully and slid through the gap between bat and pad to rocket into leg stump.
Yadav's spell helped India make a perfect start to the seventh edition of the Women's T20 World Cup and the right-armer was deservedly named Player of the Match for her efforts.
