The Final will take place from 18-22 June 2021 (with a wet weather reserve day on 23 June).

Where is the ICC World Test Championship Final taking place?

The Hampshire Bowl in Southampton, England will be hosting the inaugural ICC World Test Championship Final.

Who is playing in the ICC World Test Championship Final?

India and New Zealand, the teams qualified for the final by virtue of having the best records in Test Cricket over the last two and a half years.

What time will the match start each day?

Timings of play will be confirmed shortly.

ELIGIBILITY

Who can apply for the ballot?

Anyone aged 16 or over who is resident in the UK can apply through the ballot.

Why is the ballot open to UK residents only?

Due to current restrictions and ongoing uncertainty regarding international travel, tickets for this fixture have been limited to UK residents only.

I can’t attend the match but want to buy tickets for friends, can I still apply?

No, please do not apply. The original ballot applicant must purchase the tickets on a card registered in their name and attend on the day of the game. Where necessary, ID checks will be implemented at the gates and unauthorised attendees may be turned away.

When does the ballot open and close?

The ballot will open at 1000 (BST) on Tuesday 27th April and will close at 1700 (BST) on Monday 10th May 2021. Only applications received during this period will be eligible for ticket allocation.

APPLICATION DETAILS

How many tickets can I purchase?

Applicants are able to apply for a maximum of six tickets per day.

Can I apply for tickets to multiple days of the match?

Yes. Please select multiple days when prompted and complete the relevant ticket information for each day.

What are the ticket prices for the match and where are different priced tickets located?

Gold: £150 (Days 1-4) I £100 (Day 5)
Approximate Location: Behind the bowler’s arm / in line with play
(Note: there are no concessionary rates in this price band)

Silver: £100 (Days 1-4) I £75 (Day 5)
Approximate Location: Third Man / 45° angle from play
(Note: there are no concessionary rates in this price band)

Bronze Adult: £75 (Days 1-4) I £50 (Day 5)
Bronze U17: £35 (Days 1-4) I £20 (Day 5)
Approximate Location: Mid-Wicket / Side-on to play

Are there concession prices for Under 17s?

Due to significant restrictions on capacity, concession prices will only be available in the Bronze Category seating. Under 17s are able to sit in Gold and Silver areas but will not be eligible for concessionary priced tickets.

Can I request a specific seat within the stadium?

Seats within the ballot will be allocated at random within the specified price band. With expected restrictions on capacity, a large number of seats will not be in use for this fixture and we are not able to accommodate specific seat requests.

What is a household bubble?

For this question, please indicate the number of different addresses people in your group live at as their normal residence. This information will be used to ensure allocated seats are appropriately distanced within the ground.

If I apply in the ballot and later wish to change my application, what should I do?

We are unable to amend applications once they have been submitted. If you have made an error or your requirements have changed, please resubmit your entry using the same email address and your original request will be deleted.

How do I know my application has been submitted successfully?

You will receive a confirmation email with your application details.

RESULTS & PAYMENT

When will ballot results be notified?

All applicants will be notified of the results of the first stage of the ballot by Thursday 13th May.

How will winners be decided?

Ballot winners will be selected in a randomised way in line with terms and conditions of the ballot. We reserve the right to amend the allocation process based on local or national restrictions should we be required to do so.

When will I be charged for my tickets?

Within the announcement of ballot results, successful applicants will be provided with further information about paying for their tickets. Tickets will only be secured once full payment is received.

What happens if I am successful in the ballot but I no longer want my tickets?

Should you be successful in the ballot but no longer wish to attend, there is no obligation to purchase your tickets. Any tickets not paid for within the specified payment window will be offered to ballot applicants who were unsuccessful in the initial allocation.

REFUNDS & SUPPORTER SAFETY

What will the stadium capacity be for each day of the match?

As per UK Government restrictions, we are expecting to restrict capacity to a maximum of 4,000 supporters per day

What is the event refund policy?

Supporters can apply with confidence in the knowledge that they will receive a refund of the face value of the ticket if they are unable to attend because the match is played behind closed doors due to COVID restrictions. The full ticket refund policy is being finalised in line with updated guidance and will be published prior to payment being taken.

Will seats within the venue be socially distanced?

Supporters from different households will be socially distanced within seating areas.

What additional safety measures will be in place at the venue to keep supporters safe?

Supporter safety is our priority. We are working closely with the venue and relevant Safety Advisory Groups to implement a range of measures in line with updated Government advice. All attendees will receive further information on these measures in the build up to the match as they are confirmed.

Is their Car Parking available at the venue?

Yes. There are a large number of car parking spaces available at the Hampshire Bowl. Ticket purchasers will be able to secure a car parking space once they have made payment.

ACCESSIBILITY

A member of our group is a wheelchair user or has an accessibility requirement, how do we apply for tickets?

The Hampshire Bowl is a fully accessible venue, please complete the relevant section within the ballot form for more information and to apply for accessible tickets.

A member of our group is disabled and requires support to attend the match, what is your policy on Essential Companions?

In line with the venue’s accessibility policy, Essential Companion tickets will be available on a complimentary basis for disabled supporters who require assistance to attend the match. These tickets should be included within your ticket request in the ballot.

Is there Accessible Parking at the venue?

Yes. Successful applicants will be able to purchase Blue Badge Car Parking once they have confirmed their tickets.

TICKET RESALE

What happens if I purchase a ticket but am unable to attend?

We will offer all supporters the opportunity to resell tickets through our official resale portal. Please note: there will be a zero-tolerance policy on unauthorised ticket resale, the original ballot applicant must attend with their group.
