India call up uncapped all-rounder for remainder of Australia Tests
The visitors have resorted to Mumbai's standout domestic performer to bolster the squad following Ashwin's retirement.
India have named Tanush Kotian in their squad ahead of the fourth Border-Gavaskar Series Test against Australia in Melbourne.
Kotian, the off-spinner, has been called up following Ravichandran Ashwin's retirement after the third Test in Gabba last week.
The 26-year-old's off-spinner has 101 wickets from 33 first-class outings alongside 1525 runs.

Kotian was part of the India A squad that played against Australia A ahead of the five-Test series between the senior sides. The 26-year-old claimed a wicket and scored 44 runs from the tour match.
The rest of the squad composition for India remains the same.
With the series level at 1-1 going into the fourth Test, Australia have made three changes to their squad for the remainder of the series.
Opener Sam Konstas has taken the place of Nathan McSweeney, while Jhye Richardson and Sean Abbott have been added to the bowling line-up.
The fourth Test between the two teams will be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) starting on Boxing Day (26 December).
