Mehidy Hasan Miraz snared three wickets late on day three to reduce India to 45/4 in pursuit of 145 in the fourth innings of the second Test in Dhaka.

India lost the key wickets of Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli with the pitch taking turn, making what might have been a regulation run chase rather tricky heading into day four.

However, fast bowler Mohammed Siraj dismissed any such concerns, citing that the visitors shouldn't be "overthinking".

"We shouldn't be overthinking [that we lost four wickets]. We have 80-odd runs [100 runs] to score. If a batter settles down, we won't be under pressure," Siraj said.

While he admitted that Bangladesh were probably ahead because of the four wickets, Siraj expressed confidence in the men to come in the batting line-up.

"We lost a couple of wickets extra. But we don't need to worry too much. We also have Rishabh, Shreyas and Ashwin to come," Siraj said.

Axar Patel, whose promotion to No.4 was a talking point on day three, remained unbeaten on 26 with nightwatchman Jaydev Unadkat giving him company.

Speaking of Axar's promotion, Siraj said that the management felt that with a left-right pair in the middle the "bowlers can struggle with adjusting their lines."

A win here to complete a 2-0 series victory will be crucial for India to give their chances of making the ICC World Test Championship final a good boost.
