Q. How long will the match go for?

A.     Tickets to the Women’s T20 World Cup final cover the match and the pre and post entertainment. The box office at the MCG will be open until 9:30pm so fans can purchase tickets to the match up until this time, however tickets will not be available purely for Katy’s performance.

Q. What time is Katy performing at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup final?

A.     Ticketholders are encouraged to be in their seats from 5:00pm, before Katy takes to the stage at 5:30pm. Katy will then return to the stage immediately after the trophy presentation (approximately 09:40pm)

Q. How long will Katy be performing for?

A.     Katy will be on stage at 5:30pm to perform two songs before the match commences at 6:00pm. She will then return to the stage immediately after the trophy presentation, this time with her full band. Her post-match performance will last up to 60 minutes, subject to any match delays.

Q. I missed out on entering the ballot, can I still access a wrist band to watch the performance from the field?

A.     We’re sorry to hear you missed out on entering the ballot. When the ballot opened, emails were sent to nominated T20 World Cup ticketing accounts who had purchased tickets in advance, alerting that ticket account holder of the opportunity to enter. New ticket purchases were provided a link within their ticket confirmation email. The terms and conditions of the ballot were clear, including the cut-off time and date for the ballot so while we understand that you are frustrated about missing the opportunity, the number of ballot applications exceeded the number of access passes available, so we are unable to accept late entries under any circumstances.

The post-match concert will be one of two performances by Katy Perry on the night, and we hope that you enjoy the whole experience including the pre-match show, watching the two best women’s cricket teams in the world, followed by the post-match concert!

Q. I was unsuccessful in the ballot, will I be advised and am I able to move seats for a better view of Katy’s performance?

A.     Those who applied for the ballot and were unsuccessful will be notified via email.

The ability for ticketholders to move around the venue and change seats once the cricket has finished will be dependent on many factors, including crowd numbers. Venue officials will review and make a decision on the night. Fans will then be informed via in-stadium announcements.

Q. I received an email to say I was successful in the ballot. Where and when do I need to pick up my wristband?

A.     Information around wristband collection has been sent to ticketholders who were successful in the ballot. These emails were sent to ticketholders on March 3, 2020.

Q. Once I collect my wristband, how do I access the field to watch Katy’s post-match performance?

A.     Information around how to access the field for Katy’s post-match performance was included in the email sent to ticketholders who were successful in the ballot.

Q. What happens if the match finishes early, is delayed or if there is wet weather? Will Katy still perform?

A.     Katy’s stage will be set up immediately following the match and her concert will start once the lap of honour has finished.

Should the match finish early, she will go on earlier however should the match be impacted by any delays, her concert may be shortened. The venue curfew is 11pm so Katy’s concert will finish by this time.

If there is wet weather ahead of both the pre and post-match show, a decision will be made as to whether the performance can continue, dependent on a range of factors including severity of the weather and fan experience.
