Kuldeep Yadav recreates 'perfect' delivery from 2019 World Cup

Kuldeep's delivery to bowl Babar Azam at the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2019 had garnered a lot of attention. The left-arm wrist spinner turned one sharply back into the Pakistan batter and disturbed the stumps, leaving fans spellbound.

“It drifted and turned so any spinner would love that delivery. It was a proper delivery, a Test delivery, deceiving the batsman in the air and forcing him to make a mistake – a perfect delivery. I think it was one of the best balls of the tournament for me," Kuldeep said at the time.

Three years since, in the first Super League ODI between India and South Africa in Lucknow, Kuldeep recreated the 'perfect delivery', cleaning Markram up with one that turned back into the batter significantly.

Markram, who was yet to get off the mark, was on the front foot to defend, like Azam, but the ball sneaked past his bat to hit the stumps.

South Africa were put in to bat in the first ODI after showers delayed the start of the game. Reduced to a 40-overs-per-side match, the South Africa openers put on 49 for the first wicket before Shardul Thakur dismissed Janneman Malan and Temba Bavuma in successive overs.

Kuldeep then went on to dismiss Markram with the beauty to leave South Africa at 71/3.
