5.30pm - Thank you to all the Afghanistan supporters who have written in to express their delight at their side's performance.
Farah in Afghanistan writes to says "I wish that the Netherlands win today because we would possibly get revenge for yesterday's loss."
And it seems that Afghanistan's exploits have been affecting the sleep pattern of its supporters.
"Last night when we lost the match to Holland I didn't sleep. I was awake all night thinking about today's match. Last night I didn't sleep because of disappointment and tonight I will not sleep because of joys" writes Ibrahim Zazai. "A warning to South Africa and India - get ready! We are coming from the mountains of Afghanistan!"

Here is some post-match reaction from the Afghanistan players.
"It has always been our dream to qualify and play in a World Cup. We missed out on the 50-over Cricket World Cup last year, so I am very happy we will play in the Twenty20 event," said Noor Ali.
"It was very difficult to score on the wicket today as the ball was turning a lot which made it hard.
"It is our dream to play against the best teams and have the chance to play against fast bowlers like Dale Steyn or Ishant Sharma. We will prepare ourselves very well for this event and we need to keep on getting better ahead of the World Cup."
"It is a dream come true and it is the biggest day in my cricketing life to qualify for the World Twenty," added Hamid Hassan.
"There was a lot of pressure today as it was like a semi-final and so our batsmen did very well even though we were chasing a low score.
"Everywhere in the world the Afghan people will be very happy but they will want us to bring the trophy back home with us by winning the final."
"I am very happy to qualify for the Twenty20 World Cup," said Mohammad Nabi.
"It is very good for our team and our country that we will have a chance to play in live broadcast matches and play against the Test playing countries.
"I always believed in my team and that we had a really good talent even when we were playing in the World Cricket League Division 5 in Jersey when we had some problems with the batting. We have come very far to come from there and now be playing at international level.
"It is very good for us to be able to play matches that will be broadcast live on television so the whole world can see Afghanistan playing cricket.
"It is good for the people in Afghanistan as they will be able to watch us play and they are very proud of us. It will be very good for young boys in Afghanistan who want to play cricket as well."
