Match-Day accreditation for the knockout matches

T20 World Cup

We have now begun the process of match-day accreditation for the knockout matches at the Sydney Cricket Ground (semifinals on 5 March) and the Melbourne Cricket Ground (final on 8 March).

For this, you need to log on to the media accreditation portal here and select matches you intend to cover. The portal will remain open until 9 a.m. on 4 March, Melbourne time. The match-day lists will be finalised by 5 p.m. on 4 March for the semifinals and by 5 p.m. on 6 March for the final.

Please note that applying for matches does not guarantee you match-day accreditation. The match-day lists will be drawn up keeping in mind the participating teams and preference will be given to media from those countries. In addition, a strict priority order will be enforced for positions in the press box and photo positions as outlined in the FAQs document, which is available in the Resources section off the Online Media Zone.

Accredited media who have attended tournament matches will be given preference over others who are also accredited but have missed matches without informing us.

If you have not collected your media accreditation card, please refer to the Venue Accreditation Centre opening dates and times on the Online Media Zone. You will need to show your Identity Document that you used in your accreditation application to collect your accreditation pass.

For Australian and New Zealand Citizens; your current passport or Australian Drivers License (including learners permit) issued by an Australian State or Territory. All other nationalities: your current passport. You must collect your pass in person.
