Media Accreditation opens for ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier 2021

The media accreditation process for the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier 2021, to be held in Zimbabwe from 21 November to 5 December, is now open.

Members of the media who intend to cover this event from the venues are advised to submit their applications by 22h00 Dubai time on Thursday, 4 November 2021.

Media persons whose accreditation applications are approved, will be provided with visa letters, should they require them. Please contact Darlington Majonga (details below) for the visa letters as well as any other matter regarding the media accreditation process and collection of accreditation cards.

To apply for media accreditation please send in the following to the undersigned:

  1. A colour headshot photograph with a plain background (like a passport photo) (.jpg file, maximum 2 MB in size)
  2. Scanned copy of the photo page of valid passport (.pdf file, maximum 2 MB in size
  3. Letter of approval/assignment from the editor on official letterhead (.pdf file, maximum 2 MB in size)
  4. Proof of full vaccination with respect to COVID-19

The ICC reserves the right to approve/reject/request further information on all applications in its sole discretion and without providing reasons for doing so.

The media will have to adhere to all the media terms and conditions and bio-security protocols in place for the event or will risk getting their accreditation cards revoked.

As of now, there are no quarantine requirements in Zimbabwe. However, the Media is responsible for checking on any developments and will be required to adhere to any government guidelines and bear costs related to any tests, procedures or quarantine should they be required.

Only those who are fully vaccinated with a WHO-approved vaccine will be considered for accreditation.
