This is a one-stage online process that can be completed by clicking here and is only for written press, photographers, non-rights holding (NRH) TV and radio broadcasters. Those who have covered one of the following ICC Events will be eligible for media accreditation to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021:

If you have not attended one of the above or if you have only covered home internationals or other ICC events but believe your circumstances warrant media accreditation, then please apply and the ICC will give due consideration to your request.
Members of media will have until 17h00 Dubai time (GMT +4) on 15 September 2021, to register for accreditation. As part of the process, the media will need to upload the following documents and, therefore, the ICC advises applicants to have these prepared in soft copy as you will not be able to submit the application form without them.
- A colour headshot photograph with a plain background (like a passport photo) – jpeg or png file (1-2MB)
- Letter of approval/assignment from your Editor/Commissioning Editor – pdf or jpeg file
- Passport/Emirates ID/Oman Resident Card
- COVID-19 vaccination certificate
- You will also be asked to select Round 1 and Super 12 matches you intend to cover.
The ICC reserves the right to approve/reject/request further information on all applications in its sole discretion and without providing reasons for doing so.
Whilst selecting matches, the media is advised to bear in mind the following:
- Your tournament pass doesn’t guarantee you a space in the media working area on a match day. Match-day accreditation lists will be prepared as per the ICC review process. Please refer to the FAQs document to read more about the process.
- Match notifications will begin in due course and will be published on the online portal. You will be able to log into your account and see the matches for which you have been allocated a seat in the media box, or a photo position.
All media activities will be conducted in line with COVID-19 safety regulations in the UAE and Oman. Access to training in venue on match day -1 will be facilitated and further details regarding player access and press conferences will be provided in due course.
As at previous ICC events, NRH camerapersons will be accredited for the tournament, but only reporters will be accredited on match days. However, to assist NRHs, all pre-match and post-match media conferences will be uploaded to the Online Media Zone. We will also provide some B-roll footage from pre-match days.
We are committed to keeping all participants at the event safe and as such, the ICC Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) has recommended all accredited media are fully vaccinated with a WHO approved COVID-19 vaccine. This is in addition to any entry requirements to our host countries, which are the responsibility of each individual.
There may be some travel restrictions in place in the United Arab Emirates and Oman during the tournament period. Media applying for accreditation are responsible for undergoing any mandatory quarantine and obtaining any relevant visas or work permits as required, and bear the costs associated with any of these.
The media is advised to carefully read the Media Accreditation Terms and Conditions and refer to the FAQs document to avoid inconvenience.
