The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021 trophy at The Louvre Abu Dhabi ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 that begins on Sunday 17 October in UAE and Oman.

The following is the schedule of media opportunities on Monday 1 November at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021:

Sharjah:

  • England will play their group 1 match of the Super 12s against Sri Lanka in Sharjah on Monday 1 November at 18h00 and both teams will hold their post-match press conferences 15 mins after the game on the Sharjah zoom link.

Abu Dhabi

  • South Africa and Bangladesh will play their Group 1 match of the Super 12s at the Zayed Cricket Stadium on Tuesday 2 November at 14h00.This will be followed by Pakistan and Namibia where they will play their Group 2 match of the Super 12s at the Zayed Cricket Stadium on Tuesday 2 November at 18h00. To attend the match at Zayed Cricket Stadium members of the media will need to have a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of entering the venue.
  • Pakistan will hold their pre-match press conference with Shoaib Malik from 12h45 local time on Monday 1 November. This press conference will be held remotely only via zoom, meaning no in person attendance is possible. For those wishing to join the press conference remotely, please use the ABU DHABI zoom link shared below to access.
  • South Africa will train at the Zayed Cricket Stadium facility in Abu Dhabi between 14h00 and 17h00 on 1 November. They will also hold their pre-match press conference at 17h00 with Dwayne Pretorius at the stadium in person and using the Abu Dhabi zoom link.
  • Namibia will train at ToleranceOval at the Zayed Cricket Stadium facility in Abu Dhabi between 18h00 and 21h00 on 1 November, prior to that they will hold their pre-match press conference at 17h45 local time at the stadium in person and also via the Abu Dhabi zoom link.

Dubai

  • Pakistan will be holding their pre-match training session at the ICC Academy, Dubai on Monday between 14h00 and 17h00 ahead of their fixture on Tuesday against Namibia in Abu Dhabi.
  • Bangladesh will be holding their pre-match training session at the ICC Academy, Dubai on Monday between 14h00 and 17h00 ahead of their fixture on Tuesday against South Africa in Abu Dhabi. They will also hold their pre-match press conference at the Dubai International Stadium from 13h30 local time. In person attendance is permitted for those who apply beforehand and have evidence of a negative PCR test taken within the last 72 hours. Details on how to apply to attend are below. Some other points to note:

Media interactions are being held on a hybrid model, allowing a limited number of journalists to join in person with the global media allowed to join remotely. Those joining remotely, please login ahead of expected time of media interactions.

Media may only be allowed in pre-match day practice sessions. They can’t attend all practice sessions during the tournament.

NRH camerapersons are not allowed at the pre-match media conferences and will not get match-day accreditation. Press conference clips will be uploaded on the Online Media Zone for TV channels and websites only. These cannot be shared on any Social Media platforms. Filming is not allowed inside venues on match days.

Reporters wanting to attend any media conference need to produce proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of attending a match at any venue. This is an event requirement, and the ICC has arranged for these tests. More about this can be found in our advisory here.
