The pre-match celebrations commence at 6.30pm showcasing performances from Icehouse, William Barton, Mitch Tambo, Thndo and Janaki. Arrive early to experience this unique performance.

There will be a carnival-like Fan Zone outside the MCG in Yarra Park from 3:00pm to 10:30pm

Wheelchair and accessible seating along with carer and companion seating is available throughout the venue for all matches and can be purchased online via tickets.t20worldcup.com or via the Ticketing Contact Centre.

Accessible Gate Entry

All entry gates to the MCG cater for patrons with accessible needs.

Changing Places

The MCG Changing Places facility is located on the ground level inside Gate 3 entrance. An MLAK Key is required to access this facility. If you don’t have an MLAK Key please just ask the friendly MCG event staff at Gate 3.

The Changing Places facility comes with a height-adjustable, adult-sized changing bench, a tracking hoist system, space for a person with a disability and two carers, as well as a non-slip floor and a safe and clean environment.

Accessible Toilets

Accessible toilets are located on all levels throughout the venue.

Wheelchair Seating

Accessible seating is available in all stands at the MCG.

Please note that due to extreme demand for the following matches, wheelchair and accessible seating is only available by calling the Ticketing Contact Centre.

Accessible Drop-Off And Pick-Up

A taxi pickup and drop-off area for patrons with reduced mobility is available at the Bus Turning Circle, Jolimont Terrace, before and after the event

The MCG is a cashless venue, but if you do need cash, ATMs are located:

• Inside the venue near Bay M12, Bay 34 and Bay 52
• Outside the venue at Gate 1, Gate 3 and Gate 7

There are four Parent Rooms at the MCG. They are located at the rear of M11 in the Shane Warne Stand, behind M28 in the Ponsford Stand, behind M57 in the Olympic Stand and inside the Gate 2 entrance of the MCC Members Reserve.

Each Parent Room includes baby change facilities, a family toilet and microwave.

Baby change facilities are located widely throughout the venue. Please ask a member of staff for directions.

You may bring a small esky or cooler bag to the venue, but it must be smaller than H:35cm, W:20cm, L:30cm to fit under your seat.

Please read the Restricted and Prohibited Items section below to ensure any food and drink you bring is permitted into the venue.

First aid stations are located on Level B1 and Level 4. If you require first aid assistance please speak with the nearest event staff member who will direct you to the closest first aid station.

Please stay home if you are sick or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

For the safety of all, we recommend you wear a face mask when moving around and exiting the venue to protect yourself and others.

Please wash or sanitise your hands regularly and cover coughs and sneezes. There are the hand sanitiser stations available around the venue.

MERCHANDISE

Merchandise will be available from a number of outlets inside and outside the venue. Please ask a member of staff or a volunteer to direct you to the nearest one.

The MCG offers a multi-faith prayer room that is able to cater for more than 50 patrons at one time and is suitable for patrons of all faiths including Christian, Muslim, Jewish and Hindu. You'll find it on Level B1 of the Shane Warne Stand, on the concourse approximately in line with Section M13. More information on the space, and the facilities to accommodate differing faith requirements.

Ticket Pass outs will be permitted at all T20WC venues on all match days.*

Each ticketholder must have their ticket scanned out at the time they exit the venue. Ticket holders must retain their valid Match-day ticket as they will be required to scan their ticket to exit and again to re-enter.

If a ticketholder tries to re-enter the venue and their ticket has not first been scanned out, they may be denied entry back into the venue.

All ticket holders re-entering the venue will be required to go through and pass the full security check again before re-entry.

Phone charging and power bank rental is available on Level 1 at Bays M9, M18, M27, M32, M45.

There is a Pram Store area at Gate 1 and Gate 3. This is a free of charge service, but items are left at owner's risk.

Smaller foldable prams and strollers are permitted in the stadium if they fit under the patron’s seat as long as they do not present a safety hazard to others.

Don’t forget to use the Aramco Recycling machines to dispose of your plastic waste. Aramco & ICC will recycle these into clothing. Look for them around the venue.

Please bring only what you need to enjoy a day at the cricket and leave the following common items at home, as you will not be permitted to bring them into the venue. Prohibited items include:

• Metal cans or glass bottles
• Large banners and large flag sticks that are over 1.6m in length
• Balls, including cricket balls
• Musical instruments, including whistles, horns, vuvuzelas and megaphones (unless previously arranged and approved)
• Eskies and cooler bags larger than H:35cm, W:20cm, L:30cm
• Alcohol
• Any food or non-alcoholic drinks other than small amounts for personal consumption

Please arrive early and be patient with our staff while they work to ensure we all have a safe and enjoyable day.

Any person having entered the Stadium and found to be in possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Item, shall have such item confiscated and may be asked to leave the Venue.

Smoking and vaping anywhere within the venue is prohibited

Umbrellas are permitted into the Venue but, for the comfort of others, must not be raised in the seating bowl or concourse areas during play.

Water fountains are readily available throughout the venue on all concourses.

Built in 1853, the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) is the largest stadium in the Southern Hemisphere and 10th biggest in the world boasting a capacity of over 100,000 people.

It’s a stadium rich in history and the scene of some of Australian sports most memorable moments.

The first cricket match played at the MCG took place in September 1854 while Victoria and New South Wales met in the first inter-colonial match in March 1856.

The MCG is the birthplace of Test Cricket (1877) and one-day international cricket (1971), the home for the AFL Grand Final and hosted the 1956 Olympic Games and 2006 Commonwealth Games along with a range of major international events and concerts.

Outside of Lord's, the MCG is the only other stadium around the world to host the ICC Cricket World Cup Final more than once (1992 and 2015).

The MCG underwent significant redevelopments in 1991, when the Great Southern Stand was rebuilt, and again in 2003-2005, when the Northern Stand replaced the old Ponsford, Members and Olympic Stands.

In 2022 the MCG will host the Final of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
