Mohammad Wasim appointed as Pakistan chief selector

Wasim has been handed the duties until the next ICC Men's Cricket World Cup in 2023 and his first assignment will involve selection for the upcoming two Tests and three-match T20I series against South Africa.

Pakistan have also named Saleem Yousuf, the former wicket-keeper, as the head of the PCB Cricket Committee, another role which was earlier held by Misbah.
