Molina Asthana

A lawyer by profession, Molina is the President-Elect of the Law Institute of Victoria.

She is the founder of the organisation, Multicultural Women in Sport, which aims to empower migrant women from multicultural backgrounds through sport. She serves on the AFL Southeast Commission Advisory Board (former Commissioner), Gymnastics Victoria and Table Tennis Victoria Boards and is a member of the Football Federation of Victoria Tribunal and a member of the Sport Australia Sport Volunteer Coalition. Molina is also on the Advisory Board Welcoming Clubs, the Centre for Sports and Entertainment Law at the Gujarat National Law University, Alpha Sports Academy and Abhinav Bindra Foundation’s Sport4Her Program in India.

She was formally a Cricket Australia Ambassador, a Commonwealth Games Ambassador and Jean Hailes Women’s Health Ambassador.

Molina also serves on the Boards of AMES Australia, Graduate House of the University of Melbourne and Good Shepherd ANZ and she is the National President of the Asian Australian Lawyers Association.

Molina has received multiple awards for her work including the Victorian Multicultural Award for Excellence on two occasions.
