The Black Caps will play Tests in New Zealand for the first time since winning the ICC World Test Championship when they take on Bangladesh and South Africa.

New Zealand Men will open the summer with two Tests against Bangladesh starting on New Year's Day at Bay Oval. The visitors will be aiming to claim their first Test victory in Aotearoa after nine consecutive losses across five tours.

Another two Tests against the Proteas in February could put the Black Caps in a strong early position in their ICC World Test Championship defence, but the home team will also need to find a way to beat South Africa in a Test series for the first time ever.

The White Ferns will get in on the action when they host India Women in one T20I and five ODIs during February.

These white ball matches will be an ideal warm up for both teams ahead of the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup that will be held in New Zealand from 4 March to 3 April 2022.
