Pakistan confirms schedule of ODI tri-series ahead of Champions Trophy

The PCB announces a tri-nation ODI series involving Pakistan, New Zealand and South Africa from February 8-14 as preparation ahead of ICC Men’s Champions Trophy.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have announced the fixtures for the upcoming tri-nation ODI series featuring Pakistan, New Zealand and South Africa. The series, which will be played on a single-league basis, is set to take place from 8 to 14 February 2025.

Pakistan and New Zealand are scheduled to begin their preparations ahead of the series at the Gaddafi Stadium on 6 February under the lights while South Africa’s first outing at the historic venue will be on the morning of 9 February.

The hosts, Pakistan come off a victorious outing in South Africa, whitewashing the Proteas 3-0 in their three-match ODI series in December. Meanwhile, the Kiwis secured a 2-1 series win over Sri Lanka at home earlier this month.

These fixtures will provide the three teams with an opportunity to fine-tune their preparations ahead of the upcoming ICC Men’s Champions Trophy which begins on February 19.

The four matches at Gaddafi Stadium and National Bank Stadium will provide the PCB with an opportunity to showcase its redesigned and redeveloped venues to a global audience ahead of the upcoming ICC event.
