ABOUT PERTH STADIUM

Perth Stadium and the surrounding park is located east of the Perth CBD, on the Burswood Peninsula. With views of the picturesque Swan River and Perth city in the west and the foothills in the east, this 60,000-seat, world-class, multi-purpose stadium hosts a variety of sports and entertainment events including Australian Football League, international and Big Bash League cricket, soccer, rugby league and union plus concerts. The stadium officially opened on 21 January 2018.

Train Catch the train to Perth Stadium Station 
Trains travel direct to Perth Stadium Station for passengers on the Joondalup, Fremantle and Armadale Lines. Passengers on the Midland Line can choose to walk over the Windan Bridge to East Perth Station.

Walkers and cyclists can venture over the Matagarup Bridge, a pedestrian bridge crossing over the Swan River from East Perth.

There are a range of footpaths to Perth Stadium and over 600 bike racks are located around the Stadium Park.
Parking ACROD Parking
There is limited ACROD parking available at Optus Stadium
To access the ACROD Parking or Drop-Off areas
You must have a valid event ticket
ACROD permit
Parking or drop-off pass.
ACROD parking registrations open three weeks prior to each event and parking permits are subject to availability.

Passes will be issued by email or can be collected from Perth Stadium ahead of an event.


There is no parking available at Perth Stadium on major event days.
Perth Stadium car parks will be closed to general public on our major event days, you can view these dates on our What's On page. 
Water Travel The Burswood Jetty provides an alternative transport option to access Perth Stadium and the surrounding precinct, allowing vessels to drop patrons directly to the Stadium Park.

The jetty is can be utilised for drop-offs and pick-ups from events, with a 15 minute time limit for all public and commercial users.

Boat Transfers
The Little Ferry Co. stops daily at the Burswood Jetty.
Captain Cook Cruises offer cruise transfers to and from Perth Stadium. Visit their cruise transfers page to find out more.
Drop Off & Pick Up (Uber)  
Drop Off & Pick Up (Taxi) The primary taxi rank is located off Victoria Park Drive. The taxi rank is adjacent to the Eastern Train Station accessible via the underpass.
In addition, an eight-stand pick up and drop off facility is located on Nelson Avenue in East Perth for taxi and other on-demand transport services to use e.g. Uber or Ola.
Passengers of these services will be able to access the stadium via a short walk across the Matagarup Bridge. Pick up and drop off for private vehicles is not permitted.

Accessibility 

Perth Stadium caters for everyone regardless of age, experience or ability. The aim of the design isn’t only to meet specific codes but rather to strive to exceed them as a minimum standard and create an inclusive venue for all fans.
- 360 degree access across all general admission levels
- IRUA seating throughout the Stadium
- Over 60 Universal Accessible Toilets (UAT)
- 3 Changing Places toilets – The first stadium in Australia to have more than one. Features include:
- Height adjustable adult-sized changing bench
- Mobile hoist system
- Space for a user and up to two carers
- Electric doors
- 450 wheelchair positions (100 more than required according to the 2013 National Construction Code) and 327 Enhanced Amenity Seating for  people that have mobility requirements that are not in wheelchairs
- Wheelchair positions on all levels with flexible seats for carers and guests, accommodating groups of all sizes
- 9 times more permanent ACROD bays than required (2013 National Construction Code)
- 12 lifts throughout the Stadium

Lost Property If you have lost or left behind anything at Perth Stadium please contact us on the form below or call 1300 297 588.
All property that is found, or handed in, is retained by Optus Stadium for 30 days after the event. Any property that remains unclaimed after this time will be donated to local charities.
First Aid First Aid services are available to patrons in need at all Perth Stadium events.
