Record-breaking hundred from Mehidy Hasan Miraz in second ODI against India
Walking in at 69/6, Mehidy and Mahmudullah put on 148 runs for the seventh wicket to defy India and give Bangladesh a fighting chance. After Mahmud Ullah's dismissal, Mehdiy carried on to complete his maiden ODI hundred.
The hundred from the Mehidy is only the second instance of a player from No.8 or lower making a hundred in ODIs. Simi Singh had made an unbeaten 100 against South Africa last year from No.8.

Bangladesh made 271/7 in fifty overs after struggling early on with the top-order misfiring. The 202 runs added for the seventh and eighth wicket combined makes it only the fifth instance of a team scoring 200 or more runs for the seventh wicket and lower in an ODI innings.
