Reeza Hendricks called up to South Africa's T20I squad
Hendricks was a part of the squad for both, the ODI and T20I series against England earlier this month, but didn't get a single game in the latter, after consistent returns from Temba Bavuma at the top. He was overlooked for the Australia series earlier, but now gets a look in following injuries to Bavuma and Heinrich Klaasen.
While Bavuma is recovering from a hamstring strain, which he picked up during the decider of the three-match series against England in Centurion, Klaasen had suffered a right hip injury during the team's warm-up session ahead of the T20I series opener in Johannesburg. The second game will be played in Port Elizabeth on Sunday.

"Both Bavuma and Klaasen will continue to be treated and will be reassessed ahead of the start of the second match," CSA said in a statement.
Hendricks' last T20I appearance came in the third T20I against India in Bengaluru in September 2019. He had starred with the bat in his side's 3-0 clean sweep against Sri Lanka in February last year, aggregating 139 runs from three games.
