Seddon Park- Travel
HOW TO GET TO THE VENUE
Always allow more time than you expect to get to and from the venue on your match day and aim to arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of the game. Traffic congestion can be heavy for the majority of cricket events, particularly during peak commuter travel times. CWC22 recommends spectators use public transport wherever possible. Seddon Park is located in Hamilton CBD and only a short walk from the Transport Centre.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Seddon Park is accessible by bus with the Waikato Busit eastern and western routes. Take your chosen Busit route and get off at The Hamilton Transport Centre. Once arrived take a short 3-minute walk down Bryce Street to Seddon Park
The following routes will all take you to the Hamilton Transport Centre – 2 Silverdale, 3 Dinsdale, 4 Flagstaff, 5 Chartwell, 8 Frankton, 9 Nawton, 10 Hillcrest, 11 Fairfield, 12 Fitzroy, 13 University, 14 Claudelands, 16 Rototuna, 17 Hamilton Gardens Uni, 18 Te Rapa, 19 Bremworth/Templeview and Rototuna Circular.
Bus Fares:
All ticket holders will receive free Hamilton city public bus transport on match days upon presentation of a valid ticket to the bus driver.
CAR PARKS
There is no regular on-site parking at Seddon Park but there is plenty of public parking on surrounding streets, in the Hamilton CBD are a short walk from the venue. Please note most streets in Hamilton CBD are free for the first 2 hours.
OTHER
Bike racks are located at Seddon Park Gate D off Bryce Street.
