Siraj reveals conversation with Litton Das before animated send-off
Siraj gave India the perfect start when he sent back Najmul Hossain Shanto with the first ball of the Bangladesh innings, but it was his battle with Litton Das that attracted attention.
Siraj was seen exchanging words with Das after the batter played a defensive stroke with the umpires intervening as the Bangladesh batter made strides towards the quick bowler.
Das was seen making a few gestures at Siraj immediately after but the Indian bowler had the last laugh when he dismissed the Bangladesh middle-order batter the very next ball.

He followed it up by mimicking Das' gesture and a finger-on-the-lips celebration.
Queried about what conversation he had with Das the ball prior to his dismissal at the post-match press conference, Siraj said, "No, nothing. I said that this is not T20 cricket, it is Test cricket. Play sensible cricket."

The fast bowler had an impressive outing with the ball, taking 3/14 in nine overs. He sent back both openers and Das in his spell that helped India wrestle an early advantage in the game.
"I was looking to bowl in good areas. On this pitch, if you try too hard you will leak runs. I found success by hitting similar areas. Bowling on the stumps helped me here because without width there were more chances of getting an LBW or bowled," Siraj said.
Expressing his love for the format, Siraj said that the longest format of the game was his favourite.
"Red-ball cricket has always been my favorite format. Consistently hitting line and lengths with the red ball also helps me when I play white-ball cricket," Siraj said.
