Less than one month until the eleventh edition of the Women’s World Cup and we’ve decided to look at how each team as fared at previous tournaments.
Leading the team in her first Women’s World Cup as captain, Dane van Niekerk will return from injury after missing the recent quadrangular series at home.
The series saw them take on India, Ireland and Zimbabwe with India crowned champions.
South Africa will be heading into their sixth Women’s World Cup with the hope of lifting their first trophy.
South Africa sealed its place in the World Cup after finishing second in the qualifier in Sri Lanka. The team will open their campaign against Pakistan on June 25 in Leicester.
